No one is useless in this world who lightens the burdens of another.
We have designed our program to address basic shelter first; we believe that immediately housing a person or family is the foundation for everything else. We're putting an end to chronic homelessness by first providing stable housing and then meeting other basic needs. We have adopted this approach because studies prove once basic needs are met, individuals are more likely to focus on additional areas of their lives and make positive progress.
Motorcycle Riders for Homeless Parolees has rendered services to homeless individuals and families regardless of race, sex, color, religious belief, disability, sexual preference or ethnicity. We provide crisis housing designed to provide housing and appropriate support services to persons/families who are homeless. The transition is to help them be more self-sufficient and help move the homeless toward independent living.
Motorcycle Riders for Homeless Parolees is a 501(c)(3) non- profit organization developed in order to provide social and economic services for homeless individuals and families regardless of color, race, or ethnicity that are transitioning from incarceration back into their communities. Through case management services, counseling, entrepreneurial workshops, training's, & advocacy we believe that we are able to effectively change the lives of young males within our communities. We aim to enable our clients to become self sufficient and independent while reducing the rate of recidivism.
Our program is designed to address basic shelter first; we believe that immediately housing a person or family is the foundation for everything else. Once a person has the basics, it’s easier to focus and address life’s other issues and struggles. Motorcycle Riders for Homeless Parolees (MR4HP) has always been led by a strong vision to provide shelter and resources in support of the City of Los Angeles.
